MOVZ Dance Company (est. 2011) is the resident dance company for DSOD Keller and has a family of dancers from all over the DFW area. Under the direction of Lisa Groves and with a passionate, talented, and diverse faculty, MOVZ Dance Company focuses on training well-rounded dancers (on and off stage) at the professional level. The goal is to provide dancers with the training, commitment, and discipline necessary to go on to get college scholarships or to perform at the professional level if they choose.
MOVZ Dance Company is comprised of five different teams, with a prep program and apprentice positions available. Our dancers are expected to train and perform in all major dance subjects: Ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, and technique.
Throughout the season, MOVZ Dance Company attends a variety of conventions and competitions while hosting a series of in house master classes to add another dimension to the training for our dancers. When time permits, dancers are encouraged to pursue workshops and conventions to maximize their growth.
